Some 70 couples have followed Comfortable Birth HypnoBirthing classes during their pregnancy in the last two and a half years and have gone on to remain calm and in control of their birthings.

Do you want an amazing birth experience?
Maybe you need to overcome the trauma of a previous birth experience?
then read on...

Truth:

Birth does not need to be painful.

Birth should rarely be treated as a medical event.

If you would like a natural birth then you could benefit from using proven techniques to help you relax and take control of your birth. The ability to stay truly calm often reduces the time spent in labour since your body is able to work most effectively. Learning to trust your body and relax your mind, the birth has every chance of progressing well and the baby can have the optimum start in life.

HypnoBirthing® (The Mongan Method) is a revolutionary approach to birthing.

Now in its nineteeth year, HypnoBirthing is a complete antenatal education. Now available in the Leiden area, classes are intended to help you have the most natural childbirth possible. You will learn self-hypnosis and breathing techniques that will empower you to remain fully aware and comfortable throughout your labour.

Here is what some people have had to say about my classes:

"I had a wonderful experience, calm, manageable and entirely drug free. The labour was very short and I just about had time in the pool as she was delivered in 3 minutes!!
Thank you so much for your input, encouragement and kind thoughts."

Sarah, a Comfortable Birth HypnoBirthing Mum October 2008

"Hypnobirthing really, really helped. The only mention of pain relief was when they said I was doing really well without it. We were all done and dusted in five and a half hours from start to finish."
Catherine, a recent Comfortable Birth HypnoBirthing Mum

"I found the course really beneficial because it meant that I wasn't surprised by what happened as the labour progressed and I felt like a useful member of the birthing team"
Tim, a recent Comfortable Birth HypnoBirthing Dad

Thank you for organising our sessions at such late notice, for leading them so beautifully, and for adapting to our swiftly changing circumstances with such speed! A healthy baby was born at speed with no intervention at all. We are truly grateful to you for facilitating such a wonderful event.
Polly a ComfortableBirth HypnoBirthing Mum who had a vaginal birth after caesarian (VBAC), December 2007

Ruby came 11 days late. I was in hospital due to be induced but she came naturally while on the ward. My waters broke at 4am on Wed night and Ruby was born at 11.40 on Thursday morning 25th Oct. I only had paracetamol and gas and air and I had a really good birth. I had the relaxing music playing throughout. Alistair was brilliant and he kept saying affirmations like 'trust your body' etc. and breathe. So I want to thank you very much for the course as it definitely made a difference and I had a really positive labour.

Unique to my HypnoBirthing classes I share with you clips from my daughter's Hypnobirth. I use this as an aid to demonstrate the different HypnoBirthing breathing techniques. The positive images help replace any negative images of birth you may have. You can see how perfectly calm I was in labour, smiling throughout. I hope this inspires you as it has already inspired several Mums-to-be with most couples claiming this to be the most valuable part of the course.
